medley of inspiration story

For the past couple of years I’ve enjoyed journaling and writing quotes. In that timespan I have accumulated numerous journals, notepads and scraps of paper. Periodically I shared these quotes with family members and friends. Just about everyone suggested that I publish the quotes. That wasn’t enough and I did not listen.

However, one day as I sat in silent seclusion, which I often do, I was overwhelmed by a strong sense of connection. Something told me it was time to gather the piles of journals, notepads and papers and do something with them.

The moment actually lasted a few months. As I looked at some of my past writings and thought about what my friends and family told me I was inspired to write more. Thoughts came to me throughout the entire day: while I was out walking, running errands, on the subway, in the shower, and even in the middle of the night when I would wake up to use the restroom. Talk about lack of sleep — my brain was like a runaway train. I made sure to write everything down. I then transferred the writings to my laptop for review and editing.

I ended up with lots of quotes and knew it was time to have them published. I thought to myself, what should I title them? You will find that my quotes are designed to be inspirational and I have written them to touch, move, and inspire anyone struggling with internal turmoil. We all need inspiration sometime time or another.

So then it came to me “Medley Of Inspiration”
